HOW TO CHECK THE REGISTRATION STATUS OF YOUR SIM CARD IN NIGERIA

In Nigeria, as at May 1st 2010 simcard registration commenced, and since then you cannot use a new simcard from any network provider to call, browse or send text messages without registering it, at the various designated center or at their office.The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) announced in December that the simcard registration is part of efforts to curb crime in the country, but the exercise will, however, begin with new simcards purchased by new subscribers. but sometimes the simcard registration fails as due to some reason, which are

1. incompetence from the person registering you
2. bad internet connection
3. face of the potential subscriber not properly captured
